The Team

Domain Residential was founded by its two partners Steve Pittman and Pete Powers with a specific vision: to build homes designed with strong architecture, in the best communities and locations possible. Two years later this, along with their unique home building process, is still their driving force and the key to their success.

Both Steve and Pete’s hands on approach coupled with a customer focused process offers home owners the best in home construction, cost efficiencies and communication in all stages of the home building process. The result: the delivery of uncompromising value and homes both they, and the home owners can be proud to call their own.

About Steve

With over 20+ years in the local residential development industry, Steve knows what it takes to create a successful neighborhood. As owner of a land development company Pittman Partners, Steve has developed some of Carmel’s most well-known and exclusive residential communities including Bellewood, The Estates of Clay West, The Reserve at Spring Mill, Ashbury Park, Williams Mill, Long Ridge Estates, Stanford Park, and Heather Knoll. Currently he is actively participating in the development of The Sanctuary, Long Ridge West, Westmont, and The Legacy.

About Pete

Pete Powers oversees construction and business operations for the Domain. He is a graduate of Indiana University and earned his MBA at The University of Sydney. His passion for working with homeowners to construct their dream homes and business administration led him to combine the two disciplines and pursue a career in the construction industry. Pete furthered his experience while working for a large, Indianapolis-based builder and also for a national homebuilder before forming Domain Residential.
